The 8th Cross-Strait (Taiwan-Anhui ) Forum on Technology takes place in Yuan Ze University第八屆兩岸科技論壇（第八屆台皖科技論壇）於元智召開

Yuan Ze University, Technology Industry Association of Taiwan and Anhui Association for Science and Technology co-hold the 8th Cross-Strait (Taiwan-Anhui ) Forum on Technology in Yuan Ze University on Nov.29. Over 150 cross-strait scholars and industrial experts participate in the main forum and four sub-forums which topics are AI & IOT, Science Education, Green Energy and Health Care, respectively.

Yaw-Geng Chau, Dean of YZU Electrical and Communication Engineering, said that it’s the first time to hold a forum for cross-strait communication on technological and academic fields after nine-in-one elections and it aims to provide academic-industrial exchanging platform on the four sub-forums mentioned earlier.

由元智大學、台灣科技產業協會、及安徽省科學技術協會共同主辦的第八屆兩岸（安徽）科技論壇（第八屆台皖科技論壇）於11月29日，在元智大學電機通訊大樓隆重登場。

除主論壇外，還有「人工智慧-物聯網」、「科普教育-創新發展」、「綠色能源-開發利用」、「醫療照護-福祉科技」四個分論壇，共有來自兩岸的學者專家及業界人士超過150人參加。

元智大學電通學院院長趙燿庚表示，本次論壇為九合一選舉後第一場兩岸在科技與學術方面的交流活動，旨在提供台灣與安徽在前述四個分論壇相關的科技與學術交流平台。

論壇在元智大學校長吳志揚致歡迎詞後展開；隨後，安徽科學技術協會王洵常務副主席、台灣科技產業協會李明宗理事長也都上台致詞。

開幕式後，有來自安徽的7家產業機構與台灣的相關產業機構完成合作意向書簽約，其中在公司簽約項目方面包括：合肥國軒高科動力能源有限公司與台灣唐榮車輛科技股份有限公司簽約、馬鞍山市科學技術協會與臺灣文士科普（安徽）有限公司簽約、安徽運通達物流科技有限公司與台灣先博通訊股份有限公司簽約、安慶市科學技術館與台灣力翰文教管理顧問股份有限公司簽約。
