YZU and Charitable Foundation bring the Lunar New Year allowance for people in need元智大學學生志工協助企業基金會 推動公益青年送愛下鄉趣

The “Want Want (旺旺) Youth Charity Ceremony” is sponsored by YZU and Eng Meng Tsai(蔡衍明) Charitable Foundation at the Sixth Building on January 18. Nearly 60 guests attend the event, YZU President Tze-chi Hsu (徐澤志) and Chief Executive of the Foundation Syu Jhu Hu(胡雪珠) host the ceremony. The borough chiefs from different districts including Yu Yueh Tung (董毓玥) of Tzu Li Borough, Ai Mei Ting(丁愛梅) of Chung Cheng Borough, and Chen Jung Li (李振榮) Hsing Jen Borough, accept the allowances.

President Tze-chi Hsu says that YZU Student Volunteering Group has contributed to the social service in the community for years, such as day care service for the junior and elementary students living the Home for Children/Teenagers, and services for people in need. This year student volunteers join the Youth Event and have earned praise.

元智大學與蔡衍明愛心基金會為了照護青年學子及關懷社會弱勢族群，合作推動「旺旺公益青年送愛下鄉趣」三節致贈慰助金活動。105年春節慰助金頒贈典禮，1月18日(一)上午10時30分，假元智大學六館十一樓會議室舉行。

典禮由元智大學校長徐澤志及蔡衍明愛心基金會執行長胡雪珠共同主持，出席人員除元智大學及蔡衍明愛心基金會相關人員外，中壢區自立里里長董毓玥、中正里長丁愛梅、興仁里長李振榮等受贈代表共約60人參加。

元智大學代理校長徐澤志表示，元智大學學生志工團體長期協助社區的社會工作，不論是到教養院協助中小學生課輔，或是協助身心障礙者的志工服務，表現出年輕學子對於社會服務的熱忱與關懷。此次元智學生志工參與｢旺旺公益青年送愛下鄉趣｣活動，將愛心發揮得更淋漓盡致。

元智學務長李穎表示，在元智青年志工同學的協助下，順利發掘100戶桃園市偏鄉需照護的家庭，由基金會贈予每戶5000元的過節慰問金。學務處也將持續推動此活動，希望愛心助人的陽光能擴大至鄰里及社會每個角落。

蔡衍明愛心基金會自104年起以各大專院校青年學子為主軸，結合各地區多所優質公、私立大學為主要合作學校，發起｢旺旺公益青年送愛下鄉趣｣ 春節、端午節與中秋節三節青年公益送愛活動，由青年學子發掘生活周遭弱勢與獨(孤)老，幫助、感受並募集感人故事，推動年輕世代直接了解社會的真實面，放送更多「助人」與「盡孝」的正能量。
