Foreign students in Taiwan gather at Yuan Ze University 「The And Game」 全台境外生相遇在元智

The Global Affairs Office of Yuan Ze University invited over one hundred foreign students from different universities like National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to gather at Yuan Ze University. YZU took the famous movie, The Avengers, as the theme of event, allowing students to incorporate the movie plot and main character of Marvel heroes in the activities. The title is names as The And Game that is homophonic to The End Game, hoping to convey the concept of connection and continuation. In addition to international students’ getting to know each other through games and solving each other’s difficulties to complete tasks, YZU expected to achieve a win-win situation through the integration of different nationalities.

今年因疫情緣故，許多境外生沒辦法於這學期返家與家人團聚，元智大學全球事務處特別在暑假結束前規劃全台境外生學伴活動，讓在台的境外生可以透過活動相互認識，不因疫情關係而感到孤單。

元智大學全球處邀約來自台灣大學、台灣科技大學、台灣醫學大學及台北師範大學等約有百餘位境外生齊聚元智大學，參與的國籍有來自印度、印尼、馬來西亞、泰國、寮國、越南、瓜地馬拉、聖露西亞、孟加拉等國，不同學校以及不同國籍的參與，使得整個活動蹦出更多火花。

元智大學全球處國際長陳勁甫表示，活動中以著名電影-復仇者聯盟為主題，讓學生在活動中帶入電影的情節，並以漫威英雄角色設定為主軸。本次主題取終局之戰(The End Game)諧音，改為The And Game，希望能傳達連結、並且延續的概念。

除了體能三大主要的遊戲：漆彈活動、高空滑索及泡泡足球外，全球處也特別在元智各館教室規劃有趣的活動，如元智一館為安靜圖書館遊戲、五館為乒乓水上游戲、二館為短距離接力賽等，學生透過遊戲認識元智大學，也讓不同國家、學校的學生彼此交流意見、相互扶持。

活動中，學生們都必須與各國不同校的學生同組，並共同合作完成團體難關。陳勁甫說，舉辦本活動是希望各校境外生除了透過遊戲認識彼此、相互解決難關完成任務外，更希望藉由不同國籍間的融合達到雙贏。
