YZU-NCU Inter-University Program on Social Enterprise: First of Its Kind in Taiwan元智、中央四院聯手打造「跨校社會企業學程」

Starting from September, Yuan Ze University (YZU) and the National Central University (NCU) will collaborate to offer an inter-university program on social enterprise. This first-time-ever program coordinates resources from two YZU colleges (the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the College of Management) and two NCU colleges (the College of Hakka Studies and the College and the Yunus Social Business Center). Upon completion of the program, students will receive a diploma jointly issued by YZU and the NCU.

The program’s curriculum includes 9 credits from required courses in general studies, management, and practical training. Students must complete the first two courses before they may move on to practical training. For elective courses, students have to complete at least 11 credits. The Dean of YZU College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Chang-Tay Chiou, points out that students need to present a minimum of 20 credits (9+11) with all course grades above 70 in order to earn the joint diploma. This program, along with the diploma, will set students ahead of the competition when they seek to enter the workplace.

元智大學今年9月起，元智人文社會學院與元智管理學院、中央大學的客家學院與管理學院尤努斯中心共同建構了台灣第一個跨校的社會企業學程，兩校四院並共同聯名認證學分學程證明書，強化學生更大競爭力。

「社會企業」是一種以營利手段從事公益事業的新型企業，近幾年已成為全球年青人創業風潮的「最愛」。台灣更是社會企業先驅者之一，兩年前行政院公布了《社會企業行動方案》，前行政院長毛治國還讓出院長官邸，成立社企聚落，讓台灣社會企業有了一個實踐創業理想的聚會場所。

元智大學為了讓學生更有系統地接受社會企業課程的訓練，同時也響應元智、中央、中原三校共同簽署的三校結盟計畫。由元智的人文社會學院與管理學院、中央大學的客家學院與管理學院尤努斯中心共同建構了台灣第一個跨校的社會企業學程，經過密集的討論與溝通，將於今年九月上路，相信該學程會受到學生的歡迎。

四個學院的合作模式，在台灣可說是絕無僅有，元智大學人文社會學院院長丘昌泰表示，結合元智人社院學生具有強烈的社會使命感與社會學知識，加上中央大學客家學院之族群意識與客家文化涵養，再結合元智與中央兩校之管理學院的課程設計，充分補足企業管理職能，這樣完美的結合，讓桃園三結義的理想得以實現。

丘昌泰說，日前元智管理學院學生企管系大三黃翊寧、英專大三陳又誠及英專大二張沁瑜，在元智管院老師指導下，組成團隊「幫True」，參加2016社會型企業青年論壇暨尤努斯獎，榮獲亞軍殊榮及獎金八萬元。丘昌泰表示，他們以改善食物浪費問題與改善市場不公為出發點，主張零污染、零浪費、零剝削、零失業率的「四零」原則，以合理的價格向果農收購落果或是外觀不良的水果，再加以加工，加工的程序以人工為主，徹底的利用物料，將污染與浪費降到最低。丘昌泰說，此乃最典型落實社會企業最好的案例。

未來跨校社會企業學程課程設計，必修課程有9學分，包含基礎課程、管理課程、實作課程各3學分，實作課程須於修畢基礎課程與管理課程後方可修習；而選修課程至少須修習11學分（含）以上。丘昌泰說，修習此學程的學生須修課達20學分（含）以上，且各科成績達70分（含）以上，未來將授與由兩校四院共同聯名認證之學分學程證明書，對於學生進入職場將具有加值之效果。
