Yuan Ze University Responds to Global Net Zero Carbon Emission Goals with Greenhouse Gas Inventory Promotion Seminar.元智大學響應全球淨零排碳目標 舉辦溫室氣體盤查推動說明會

Yuan Ze University is unwavering in its commitment to sustainable practices. On December 3rd, the Research and Development Office, in collaboration with the College of Management, joined hands with the Taiwan Industry Services Foundation and the Yuan Ze Alumni Association to organize the ‘Greenhouse Gas Inventory Promotion Seminar.’ This event marks another significant milestone for Yuan Ze University following its recognition with the ‘National Sustainable Development Award’ from the Executive Yuan and the ‘Energy Benchmark Gold Award’ from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. To support the net-zero carbon emissions goal, the seminar brought together nearly 30 representatives from businesses and scholars to discuss and promote issues related to low-carbon environmental protection. The event successfully highlighted Yuan Ze University’s proactive stance in the field of sustainable development.

元智大學推行永續理念不虞餘力，12月3日由研發處及管理學院攜手財團法人台灣產業服務基金會與元智校友總會共同舉辦「溫室氣體盤查推動說明會」。這是元智大學繼獲得行政院「國家永續發展獎」及經濟部「節能標杆金獎」殊榮後又一重要里程碑。活動以響應淨零排碳為目標，共同探討並推動低碳環保議題，會議近30位廠商代表、學者參與，成功突顯元智大學在永續發展領域的積極性。

元智大學管理學院輔導團隊代表人陳懷傑老師指出，元智為實現淨零排碳目標，積極投入溫室氣體盤查、碳足跡宣告、低碳節能方案、AI智慧製程、碳權交易等領域研究，透過自身發展經驗，提出確實可行的解決方案，促進學術界與產業界的深度合作。會中，元智大學不僅表達對社會及產業永續發展的承諾，更分享在溫室氣體盤查、低碳化及智慧化輔導方面的豐碩成果。

說明會中產業界代表，臺灣控制閥生產中心張建文廠長、富竹科技董事長魏崑楠及元智大學楊炎杰教授、財團法人台灣產業服務基金會張敬嚴先生等，共同就推動淨零排碳實際操作層面經驗進行多面向交流。

財團法人台灣產業服務基金會張敬嚴在會中表示，全球COP28UAE會議正在杜拜如火如荼舉行，會議重點將聚焦快速向清潔能源轉型、逐步汰除化石燃料、富裕國家向貧窮國家提供氣候行動資金，並有機會通過「碳定價」來規範全球的低碳化行動，這勢必不再是觀望的議題而是行動的開端。政府為協助中小企業面對未來全球化的競爭態勢，將持續投入支持資源，協助大家共同推展淨零排碳目標，並強調元智大學的積極參與，對整個產業達成永續發展目標具有重要指標意義。
